Summer Camp

Welcome to Camp Crusader!

Our Summer Camp program carries on the mission of the school day in a more relaxed atmosphere. “Kids can be kids” and experience joy, playfulness and growth in a safe environment.

Our summer day camp for children in the community in rising PK3 – 5th grade. Each week campers experience a new theme and various interests to provide a unique, high quality experience. The themes include a wide range of activities. In addition to the daily themed activity, children also enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor games, playground time, cooking, and much more.

Scroll to see our many camp options including a traditional full day camp for PK3 - 5th grade and specialty and athletic half-day camps for K - 8th grade taught by HCES teachers and coaches.
"This will be my son's fifth summer at Camp Crusader. I love the flexibility of scheduling camp by the week and the full-day option is perfect for working parents during the summer. My son really enjoys the different themes and options each week and has tons of fun learning new things and meeting new kids!"
We will theme each week with different genres of music starting with the 50's. That means poodle skirts and sock hops! We'll end each week with a fun dance party and costume contests for prizes.

We also understand the importance of our students maintaining what they've learned throughout the school year. Our program will have a rotation each day where we complete fun math, science, and reading activities that are grade-appropriate. There will be an incentive for them to complete their work with a point system for each grade to win a fun prize/treat at the end of each week!

This year our HCES Summer Camp Program will be focusing on spreading kindness throughout our community. Even our Preschoolers will be participating! Our students will create crafts and cards for some of our local retirement communities and for our emergency responders.

Camp Crusader Athletic Camps (1st - 8th Grade)

In each athletics camp you will receive coaching and mentoring on the fundamentals of each sport and be taught the rules of the game. By the end of the week, the kids will have more knowledge of the game and a passion to continue to play that sport with the experience they receive from our coaches. All Camps will be 7:30 Drop Off - 11:30 Pick Up. There is a lunch and afternoon add-on option for campers in 1st-5th grade.
