Middle School Mentors
This year, Middle School students are getting a chance to "cross the courtyard" and work with Lower School students several times a week with the help of a new elective! Middle School Mentors is an elective pairing 8th grade students with Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classrooms to assist the teacher and work with students. Each 8th grader is assigned a Lower School classroom where they help all year long assisting in a variety of capacities. This elective is a wonderful opportunity for our oldest and youngest students to work together. Our 8th graders are serving as positive role models and making a difference in the lives of our younger students and the Lower School students sure love making these new friends!
