A Prayer for Spring Break:

We remember, dear God, that on the last day of creation, you rested and told us to do the same.

Give us rest from our routine during this Spring Break. Fill us with joy.

Keep us safe and be with us as we play together and enjoy quiet time alone.

We thank you, holy One, for days of work and learning and days of play and rest.

We pray especially for those who are vulnerable to sickness at this time. We ask you to protect them and to give us a special measure of your grace to be mindful of how our actions might impact them. Remind us to be faithful to provide safe spaces for them.

Help us to love you and to love each other, in the name of your Son our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
