Was Baby Bear's Porridge "just right"?

Middle School students experimented with a two day heat transfer lab. Read about the experiment below!

Was Goldilocks telling the truth when she said, "Papa Bear's porridge was too hot, Mama Bear's porridge was too cold, and Baby Bear's porridge was just right?"

On day one of the lab, the sixth graders tested oatmeal in three different size bowls to see if this was possible. Taking the lab from question and hypothesis through data table and graph to writing a conclusion, the students found whether what Goldilocks claimed was actually possible.

On day two, the students converted their data tables to a triple-line graph. This graph allowed them to visually see their experiment's results. We found that Papa Bear's porridge lost heat faster than Baby Bear's porridge did! So, Goldilocks SHOULD have said, "Papa Bear's porridge was too cold! Baby Bear's porridge was too hot! And Mama Bear's porridge was just right."
