"The Pros and Cons of Social Media" Conversations in The Commons - March 19th

Join us on Tuesday, March 19th at 8:15 am for a special Conversation in the Commons with guest speaker Stephanie Anderson, LCSW of Anderson Counseling as she shares the effects of social media in a digital world. 

Stephanie is a graduate of East Carolina University and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Her extensive experience in the field of psychology and social work allows her to make significant connections with her adolescent and adult clients. She recently moved to Tallahassee with her family and opened her practice, Anderson Counseling.

The effects of social media on the mental health of adolescents and adults is one topic of special interest to Stephanie. Her presentation during this month’s Conversations in The Commons will offer a look at the pros and cons of social media use and how parents can help their children navigate the complex and ever-changing world of virtual communities.
